We received this lovely little piece today, and my wife put it on. The chain is standard (which is short on my wife, but we have extenders, so I won't judge the piece based on this) but the actual jewel is stunning. It is larger than I thought it would be, based on the photos. Usually, when you purchase heart-shaped jewelery, they send you this teeny heart that you can hardly make out. This piece has a bit more heft to it, and we really enjoy this. Not to say that it is large enough to qualify as costume jewelery or to be construed as "gaudy"; it is very tasteful, and it matches many different types of clothing.The CZ gems aren't noticably dim, foggy, or flawed. They aren't gleaming in the sun or anything, as they are individually quite small, but together they make up quite a lovely little faux-diamond necklace peice if you don't want to crank out hundreds of dollars for an investment in jewelery mined from the blood of poor workers in Africa by DeBeers. Personally, I think this piece is just as beautiful as anything that you could find in Jared or Shane Co, saves you $300, and doesn't give you that bad taste in your mouth.A 5 star piece. The heart pendant it large enough to draw attention to it but lays comfortably, it is not heavy and does not twist on the necklace. The chain itself has a lobster clasp and is adjustable in length. The necklace looks great with casual or dressed up attire.
