I purchased these for my nephew, who has autism, and who constantly pulls his shoulder harness away from his body. These slowed him down a little, but I need something stronger like a clamp to hold the harness in place because he still pulls on the harness, and probably likes the softness of the plush pads! (I had used plastic grocery bags around the harness, which he hates to touch). However, they came in handy for my sister, who just broke her shoulder. These plush pads are wonderful for cushioning the shoulder harness since she also has to wear an immobilizing sling for 6 weeks. These are so soft and easy to put on with the Velcro.
